Learning Catalyst is a free, non-commercial platform. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and never sell or monetise your data.

When you sign in via Manus OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL from your Manus account. This information is used solely to identify your account and personalise your experience.
The text content of courses you create (lesson text, quiz questions, flashcards) is stored in our database to provide the service. Source documents you upload are processed in memory and are not stored permanently.
We collect anonymised analytics (page views, feature usage) via a self-hosted analytics instance. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the platform.
Your uploaded documents and course configuration are sent to Google Gemini 2.5 Flash to generate course content. Google's API terms apply to this processing. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Uploaded PDF, DOCX, or URL content is processed in memory during course generation and is not written to disk or stored in our database. Only the generated course content is saved.
Your account and course data is stored in a TiDB Cloud database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt region). All connections are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+.
Authentication is handled via Manus OAuth. We do not store passwords. Session tokens are signed with a secret key and stored as HTTP-only cookies.
Generated course assets (if any) are stored in an S3-compatible object store. All storage buckets are access-controlled and not publicly enumerable.
We use Manus OAuth for authentication and Google Gemini for AI content generation. Manus and Google's respective Privacy Policies apply to these interactions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketers. Learning Catalyst has no advertising revenue model and is provided as a free public service.
We use a self-hosted Umami analytics instance. No third-party analytics cookies are set. No data is shared with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services.
You can view and export all your course content at any time from the Course Editor. SCORM export is available for all courses.
You can delete individual courses from your dashboard. To request full account deletion (including all associated data), email us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
